The picture you see
displayed is of George Stricker, President of a local sequence dance club for
15 years. He loved his music, was
always smiling and is missed by his many dancing friends. George’s wife, Jenny, kindly loaned
George’s CD collection to us so that this website, now dedicated to George’s
memory, could be more rapidly expanded.
Others who have kindly loaned CDs for inclusion in this website are
Pearl Chapman, Brian Cooper and Denis Phillips, President NZMCSDF.

Acknowledgements The assistance of Lynne Coulson in the development of this website, and of Cynthia Dearn – a seasoned dancer – in evaluating the appropriateness of individual music tracks is gratefully acknowledged. Thanks also to Alan Parkinson for introducing me to the intricacies of evaluating music for sequence dances. Page last revised 2 July 2009 |
